All-on-4 replaces all the teeth in an upper or lower jaw with a fixed, permanent bridge supported by four strategically placed implants. It’s a transformative option for patients with failing teeth or ill-fitting dentures.
The technique uses four implants per arch, with the back two angled to maximize bone contact. This usually allows immediate placement of a temporary fixed bridge the same day — you walk out with teeth, not a denture. After three to six months of healing, the temporary is replaced with a permanent restoration designed for long-term function and aesthetics.
All-on-4 is a major procedure but a relatively efficient one given the scope. Compared to placing six or eight individual implants, it requires fewer surgical sites, less bone grafting in many cases, and a much faster path to a fixed (non-removable) full arch.
Patients who’ve struggled with loose or uncomfortable dentures often describe All-on-4 as life-changing. You chew normally, speak clearly, and never worry about teeth slipping in social situations. The bridge is brushed and cleaned around like natural teeth.
