We work with most major dental insurance plans and we file claims on your behalf. Before any significant treatment, we’ll verify your benefits and give you a clear estimate of what your insurance will cover and what you’ll owe.
Bring your insurance card and member ID number to your first visit, or share the details when you register online. We’ll verify your coverage before treatment so you know what to expect, no surprise bills after the fact.
Most plans cover preventive care (cleanings, exams, X-rays) at 100%, basic procedures (fillings, root canals) at 70-80%, and major procedures (crowns, bridges, implants) at 50%. Your specific plan may differ, and there’s usually an annual maximum benefit (often $1,000 to $2,000 per year).
If you don’t have dental insurance, we have a real alternative: Virginia Dental Club. One annual membership. Your routine care at no charge, and 20% off most other services. Virginia Dental Club is a membership plan administered by Membersy LLC, not insurance. There is nothing to file, no waiting period, and no annual maximum.
For larger treatment plans, in-office payment plans and CareCredit financing are both available. We’ll walk you through the options at your visit and help you choose what works for your family’s budget.
