Gentle, calm extractions
Emergency extractions, when a tooth can’t be saved.
Sometimes a tooth is too damaged or too infected to save. When that’s the case, we’ll remove it gently — with sedation if you want it — and discuss replacement options at the same visit.
We always try to save a natural tooth first. Root canal treatment, crowns, and other restorative work can rescue most teeth. But fractured roots, severe periodontal disease, and certain advanced infections sometimes leave extraction as the right call.
The procedure is gentler than people expect. The tooth is numbed completely; sedation is available if you’re anxious. Most simple extractions take only a few minutes once you’re comfortable.
After the extraction, we’ll talk about what comes next — an implant, a bridge, or a partial denture — so you don’t leave the visit wondering. We can usually plan a replacement timeline at the same appointment.
When to come in
