Plenty of our adult patients have been quietly self-conscious about crowding, gaps, or a bite issue for years. Invisalign is a discreet, comfortable way to fix it — without anyone at work necessarily noticing.
Adult orthodontics is different from teen orthodontics. Adults often deal with shifted teeth from years of wear, a tooth or two that’s drifted after extractions, or relapse from braces in middle school that nobody wore retainers after. Invisalign handles most of those cases well.
The aligners are nearly invisible, smooth-edged, and come out for meals and meetings. Most adult patients tell us colleagues don’t notice they’re wearing them. There’s no diet restriction (you remove them to eat), no broken brackets, and no extra brushing complications — you brush and floss like normal once they’re out.
Treatment time depends on the case. Mild crowding finishes in six to nine months; more complex cases run 18 to 24 months. We’ll give you a realistic estimate at your consultation.
