Invisalign Teen.
Teens want straight teeth without metal brackets messing up sports, photos, and the rest of high school. Invisalign Teen handles most teenage orthodontic cases with a few smart features built in for parents.
Invisalign Teen aligners include compliance indicators — small blue dots that fade as the aligners are worn, so we can confirm at check-ups that they’re actually in the mouth the right number of hours. Replacement aligners are included if a few get lost (and they will).
Most teen cases run 12 to 18 months, with check-ins every six to eight weeks. Teens take them out for sports, eating, and band practice, and put them back in immediately afterward. Brushing and flossing are unchanged from normal — no special tools, no food trapped in brackets.
Some teen cases (severe bite issues, certain jaw growth concerns) are still better handled with traditional braces or specialist orthodontic care. We’ll give you an honest read at the consultation about whether Invisalign is the right fit for your teen.
